Sorry guys. I am getting a lot of mails asking for the update on the income tax calculator with regards to the fixed deposit having been part of the 80C tax exemptions. I really never knew so many would be accessing this site and making use of the tax calculator. Only after going through the hit logs I understood the importance of having to update the so popular tool !!

Anyway the good news is that I will find some spare time during weekends and will continue my work on consolidating the excel sheets (Expense organizer, Tax calculator and Handy calculators) and coming with an update on all of them including a new excel sheet to maintain your stock/mutual fund portfolio.

Wow !!, this year has been such an exciting year for me. I made my first trip on flight and it was Sahara from Bangalore to Chennai. I also my first trip aboard to Andover, US and of course we celebrated our daughter's first year birthday (Well if she was born last year we had to celebrate it this year ?!?)

But the best of all, we moved to our new house and it is such a fulfilling achievement if you ask me. No more pradeep kumar to deal with (He was the owner of my earlier rented house). No more wait on what would suit our house and delaying the purchases. I have enjoyed the process so much, each and every woodwork and every modification in the house to suit our needs and wants.

Technically it was a much better year too. Some good quality work done that gives you a sense of happiness rather than a doubt in yourself. Broadcom has shaped my life in more than one ways.

All in all a glamarous year comes to an end. 

Produced by:Director Shankar, That is how it is displayed in the title and somehow I get the feeling that Shankar might after all be a very good producer than a director. His films, Kadhal, 23rd Pulikesi and now Veyil have done extremely well. His 'S' Productions which started off with Mudhalvan might have collected more in % income from the low budget films.

Coming to Veyil, Pasupathi is growing stronger in his performance with each film and Veyil is no exception. Same goes true for bharath as well and no doubt he is the preferred hero for 'S' productions budget films. The story revolves around two brothers and how each one faces life, or how life throws them apart. A very good movie and if you ok with a few sentiments then you can have a go. But if you are fond of strong characterizations and look forward to films like Kadhal then it is a must watch.

Surprisingly the songs have come out very well. I was surprised to see very good photography too. 'Veyilodu vilayadi...' and 'Uruguthae, Maruguthae...' are excellent songs.

I loved the film. Hope you will too
